About Well-Pro Services, L.P. - Gas Well Services since 2000 |
Well-Pro Services, L. P. was established April 1, 2000, by partners Dan Mitchell, Tom Worley, and Richard May. Since our inception, the company has experienced tremendous growth because of a diversified customer base. Starting out with only one workover rig, our fleet now numbers six. In June 2002, the company decided to expand our services to include a swabbing department. After our initial purchase of a small one-swab rig operating company, we now own eight swab rigs.
Richard May, president, has over 30 years experience in the oilfield. He holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Kilgore College in Oil and Gas Technology. His past experience includes derrick and floorhand work, safety management, and swab supervising.
Greg May, vice president of operations, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. He manages all financial aspects of Well-Pro and also has experience on workover rigs, swab rigs, and in safety management.
Larry Davis is the overall operations manager for Well-Pro Services and is also the workover supervisor. With his excess of 25 years experience in the oilfield, Larry is considered one of the best in the business. We are extremely fortunate to have him managing our daily operations.
Burnis White, swab supervisor, has over 25 years of experience. Well-Pro Services is very privileged to have such a qualified individual as Burnis managing our swabbing department.
Jerry Childers, sales manager, is in charge of all outside sales for Well-Pro. He has over 35 years of experience and is well known in the oil and gas industry.
Jerry Day, maintenance supervisor, carefully oversees the care and service of our equipment fleet. One of the best mechanics in the business and having the experience in managing large fleets of trucks, Jerry preserves our equipment with regular maintenance using high quality parts.
Chad Cates, safety director, keeps our team of employees abreast of safety policies that are so important in this line of work. Well-Pro believes that keeping our employees and contractors safe is our most valued asset.
